New users can follow the steps to* [*Connect to Google Health*](https://help.runkeeper.com/en/hc/connecting-with-fitbit#Connecting) *below.* Users that previously had Runkeeper connected to the Fitbit app will need to re-connect to the Google Health app before September 30th, 2026 to continue synching data to Runkeeper. **Any activities saved to the Google Health app after September 30th will not sync to Runkeeper until you migrate your connection in Runkeeper.** Follow the steps below to migrate: - Go to your **Me** tab in the app - Tap into your Settings (the gear icon) - Select **Apps and Devices** - Tap **Google Health** - Allow the necessary permissions from your Google account to re-authenticate Runkeeper with Google Health. - After completing the re-authorization, any unsynched activities will sync over to Runkeeper (sync timing dependent on the number of activities that have to be synched). - You can continue using your Fitbit device with Runkeeper as per usual after you’ve re-connected. **Connecting Google Health with Runkeeper** You can establish a connection between your Google Health account on the Runkeeper mobile app. Once you’ve connected your Google Health account with Runkeeper, future activities will be synched automatically.
